The Heartlight Ad Rotation System

The ad rotation system at Heartlight is a mix of different advertising methods that we feel will help bring exposure to your product or service while complimenting our site. Ads are rotated throughout our network of sites in a variety of locations. Depending upon the product/service you are promoting and the number of clicks you purchase, we'll show your ads in different locations throughout our site. For example, if your site is approved and you purchase a large number of clicks, we typically will use all of the ad formats you want us to in order to give you the most exposure possible.

Some of our ad formats can be served in rich media (such as flash or html). This allows you to use different methods of presenting your products other than the standard .jpg and .gif files. Advertisers can use our real-time ad statistic software to monitor the progress of their ad campaign.

The Order Process

To better explain how the process of actually purchasing advertising at heartlight works, let's follow an example advertiser, One-Way Widgets, as they place an order for advertising:

One-Way Widgets is looking to promote their online store which sells Widgets to churches. To start, they visit this web site and find that the demographics for the Heartlight Netowrk match the criteria they've been searching for. So, One-Way Widgets fills out our online application to become an advertiser with us.

Using the online application, One-Way Widgets tells about their business, what they are selling, what sites they are interested in advertising on most, what ads they are interested in, how many clicks they plan to purchase, and other important details. This helps us evaluate if One-Way Widgets will meet our criteria and if they would be a good match for our audience.

Let's assume that One-Way Widgets gets the green light for advertising with us. Next, we'll send them to our secure server to place their order. Then, One-Way widgets will fill out a form where they will upload banners, buttons, text links, and/or e-mail advertisements that they have created. Typically within 24-48 hours of their order, their ads will begin to rotate on the Heartlight web sites. From that point forward, ad statistics are compiled and can be analyzed in real-time by the advertisers using our advertising system.
